CWIP Member Julie Foreman Exhibits Her Photography in Tuscany
In July 2005, Julie Foreman’s 35mm black-and-white photography served as the centerpiece of a cultural celebration in Strove, a charming Tuscan village near Siena. The exhibit, Settimana Culturale a Strove, was sponsored by the tiny village’s 115-year-old cultural organization, Società Filarmonica.

Julie, a fairly recent CWIP member, loves to capture street life in the pictures she takes on the road. “When I’m traveling, my vision seems sharper,” she says. "I really look at people’s faces. I notice the style of architecture, the shop windows, the shade and intensity of light, and what people are wearing. I especially like working in Europe. You can’t help but be inspired by the great cities there.”

CWIPers also know Julie as the organizer of the networking breakfasts in Evanston and Chicago. “These are wonderful supportive gatherings I highly recommend to everyone. Please come,” she declares.
Julie looks forward to returning to Italy next year for an exhibit in the nearby town of Monteriggioni.
