Monique Evelyn
Monique Evelyn currently works at that American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and has recently been promoted to the Manager of the Community Pediatrics Training Initiatives. In this role she oversees several community pediatric training projects as well as manages the resident and advocacy training grants. Before transitioning into this new position, Monique worked as the manager of subspecialty pediatric review and education programs. During her tenure in this position she was responsible for the successful launch of four subspecialty online self-assessments programs.
Prior to joining the AAP staff, Monique worked at Cardean Learning Group (CLG) the managing body for Ellis University the online division of New York Institute of Technology. She worked as the Senior Instructional Quality Specialist, training new faculty on teaching in an online environment. Although Monique no longer works for CLG, she still holds an adjunct faculty position at Ellis University. Monique teaches online courses in computer applications for Ellis University six to eight terms per year.
Monique's background is in education and instructional design. She holds a Masters from Seton Hall University in Instructional Design as well as a certificate in Information Technology. Currently, Monique is attending Northern Illinois University and is at the end of her doctoral program in Instructional Technology.
Terrence Hackett
Terrence Hackett currently works for Type A Learning Agency in Chicago where he focuses on delivering innovative learning solutions for clients. Prior to Type A, Mr. Hackett owned and operated Two-Eyed Productions, a multi-faceted learning company focused on learning strategy consulting, instructional design, and content development. He has a unique set of skills, drawing on both a strong educational background and technology expertise to help clients navigate today's complex world of online learning.
Mr. Hackett worked for Deloitte Consulting, playing a leading role in establishing Deloitte's e-learning capabilities. There, he designed and developed interactive web-based courses for major U.S. and global corporations. He also guided global Fortune 100 firms through learning management system selection processes, and provided strategic learning advice, change management services, communication consulting, and content development strategy consulting.
Mr. Hackett designed award-winning educational and entertainment programs at Jellyvision, Inc. from 1994 to 2000. There he was part of the design and development team for the hugely successful, award-winning interactive CD-ROM game show You Don't Know Jack. Mr. Hackett co-designed an interactive CD-ROM series for elementary schools called That's a Fact, Jack! Read. The program's extensive series covers 450 young adult literature titles, and it immerses elementary students in a game show environment that asks theme-related questions about the books. The product is for sale at www.jellyvision.com. Mr. Hackett oversaw audio-visual production, engineering and all editorial and creative content development for the series. The game's innovative interactive design uses thousands of sequenced audio files to simulate a human conversation.
